BIGGER & BETTER
As the 20th century draws to a close Grant has more ambitious plans, he has a vision. Our biggest hurdle was the queue! So in 1999 we separated diamonds and watches over two floors and expanded our team of staff to alleviate the infamous queue. John Macintyre & Son became Scotland’s largest jewellery store with over 6,000 square feet of diamonds, gold, silver and watches galore. The expansion continues today with over 20 designer brands.

The jewellery workshop expanded into out third floor showroom and the jobs came flooding in! Whether you are looking to breathe life back into an old diamond ring, create a bespoke piece or simply remove links from a watch our jewellers are happy to help. The workshop remains one of our busiest departments today. We are very proud of our workshop and our skilled craftspeople. Our team continues to perform consistently and reliably to extremely high standards. The workshop is equipped with the very best equipment so that we are able to offer an impressive service.
